KeyVoice (hereinafter "the App") is a voice input application for macOS provided by Tukuru Inc. (hereinafter "we" or "the Company"). We respect your privacy and explain how we handle your data in this policy.
KeyVoice does not send or store your voice data or typed text on our servers. Voice recognition results, text conversions, dictionaries, and history are managed in a way that is not accessible to us.
1. Data We Do Not Collect or Transmit
The following data is never sent to our servers:
- Voice data (audio recorded by the microphone)
- Speech recognition result text
- Text refined by the LLM
- Dictionary and replacement settings
- History data
2. About Speech Recognition Models
The App offers multiple speech recognition models. The way data is processed differs depending on the model you choose.
- Local models: Voice data is processed entirely on your Mac and is not sent to any external server.
- Cloud models: Voice data is sent to and processed by Apple's servers. Data handling in this case is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this voice data.
You are free to choose which model to use and can change it at any time from the App's settings.
3. Data We Collect
To improve the quality of the App, we may collect the following anonymous data. This data does not include any personally identifiable information such as usernames or device-specific IDs.
- Usage analytics: Anonymized statistics such as app launch count, recording count and duration, speech recognition engine and refinement features used, settings changes, and model download status
- Device environment information: Information about the App's operating environment, such as OS version, memory capacity, and app display language
- Crash reports: Technical error information when the App terminates unexpectedly (error type and location)
This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google).
4. Purpose of Data Use
Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:
- Identifying and fixing bugs
- Improving and optimizing the App's features
- Enhancing the user experience
